Hey, my name isn’t really Meg Winchester. I’m an established author working under a top-secret pen name. Don’t tell anyone, but as the world burns to the ground right now, my favorite thing is writing paranormal women’s fiction quickies for smart gals who’d divorce Edward Cullen.
I write books that I hope will give you the best hour of your day.
Writing about the quirky small-town supernatural community of “Possum Hollow” is legit helping me get through the current hellscape, and I want that for all of us. We deserve to have a good feeling sometimes. I feel good making these stories, and I hope you’ll feel even better receiving them. I can’t wait to invite you to read every last (handwritten!) word.
Possum Hollow: A Pile of Post-Its
“Meg Winchester’s Possum Hollow” is a cozy midlife magic series with a southern gothic setting and a relatable contemporary FMC. Each short book has a supernatural mystery, sweetly weird and occasionally evil side characters, and another step towards a slow burn true love story with an age-appropriate silver fox MMC.

I guess if I put all that into ChatGPT you could have some version of it in about ninety-three seconds, but that’s just not much fun for me. I’m doing this with my bare hands because I love every minute of writing these stories. A pen, a notebook, some index cards, and a lot of post-it notes.
Yep, I write all my books by hand, so it takes a while.
I’ll type it up when I’m done (so you don’t have to read my handwriting!) but I use my computer for emails and paying bills, and as a human being I find it’s not really a beautiful experience to sit at a laptop. I’d rather put my heart on paper.
Who’s Meg Winchester?
I’ll have socials and a proper newsletter set up soon, but for now, what I’ve got is this single-page website, a (redacted number) of little scraps of paper with story outlines and chapter drafts, and a basic frickin’ gmail address. Not much of a personal brand. Too busy trying to finish the books.
If you want to get in touch, you’re welcome to email megwinchesterbooks at gmail dot com to say hello.
If I never see you again, remember that I love you! xo Meg
